The Eureka Springs and Beaver Lake Arkansas area is well known for its beautiful natural surroundings as well as its rich cultural and artisan heritage. Over the years, much attention has rightly been paid to the painters, sculptors, glass and wood workers, weavers, jewelers, potters, photographers and authors that are privileged to live and work in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. Until now, however, not much has been done to pay tribute to the musicians, singers and songwriters that bless all of us in this part of the Ozarks.
Our Stop...Look...and Listen Music page is an effort by all us at EurekaSpringsWebCam.com to turn the spotlight on those who give us the beat and the songs that make up the rhythm of our wonderful community. Please enjoy the music, photos and bios of some of our outstanding performing artists below. In many cases, information pertaining to where their CDs can be purchased is provided as well as links to their personal sites.

Maureen Alexander moved to Northwest Arkansas from Minnesota and recently was quoted as saying “Although it sounds trite, I felt out of place everywhere I’ve lived until the 1st time I rolled through Eureka Springs. It felt like I had finally come home.”
Prior to moving to Eureka Springs she was resigned that her days of playing live music were behind her. Luckily, however, she met her husband, Denny, who gently urged her to rekindle her talents. “By gently, I mean he bought a guitar and said ‘GO PLAY!’
Soon after her move to Eureka Springs, Maureen’s daughters followed in her footsteps. “I am very happy they chose to live in this area and with their decision to provide harmonies on my new CD, “Time Passes”, says Maureen.
Alexander has performed around campfires through out the United States but insists her heart has found joy and her mind has found peace in Eureka Springs.
Maureen can be contacted at firstname.lastname@example.org. Her CD’s are sold in Eureka at Iris at Basin Park, Serendipity at the Crescent Hotel and online.
